Janine M. Loyd, M.A. / RPA

Janine Loyd has been involved in Northern California archaeology since 1983. She received a bachelor's degree in Anthropology from Sonoma State University, and  her master's degree in Archaeology and Heritage from the University of Leicester. Her experience includes archaeological fieldwork in northern and central California, New Mexico, Oregon, and Washington. She has been involved in evaluating built environment resources for the past twelve years, and enjoys the opportunity to pursue continuing education in all forms of  heritage resources management.

She has served as the Secretary/Treasurer for the International Association for Obsidian Studies and the Secretary of the Society for California Archaeology. She is also affiliated with the Society for American Archaeology,  the Society of Architectural Historians, Society for Historical Archaeology, and the Vernacular Architecture Forum.
